First time. Early New Year's Eve reservation, so a busy night from the start. Food took some time to arrive, but well worth the wait (most of the restaurant sat at once, so understandable). Had Sole, salmon, crab cakes and they were exceptional. Again, exceptional. Either the poorly rating reviewers have a hair on their tongue or caught a really bad night. Manager stopped by the table, we gave a big thumbs up and she said thanks with a complimentary dessert. (5 stars BEFORE the comp). Give it a try; hopefully you enjoy like us. Will be back when needing a pick-me-up meal.

This is our go to place for a nice dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays! The staff at Copper River always makes us feel welcome and well taken care of.

Ate lunch at Copper River Restaurant in Hillsboro. I ordered the special Southwest Prawn Bowl and my wife ordered the Grilled Salmon Harvest Bowl. Both were delicious. Service was good and attentive. Note: The menu is identical to Oswego Grill as it is owned by the same Crossroads Restaurant Group. Free parking is ample and there were many disabled spots.

Love the food here, especially the seasonal specials! There's lots to choose from here, menu is just right. I definitely recommend the fried chicken appetizer, so delicious! This place is very popular and is usually very busy every night of the week, so I recommend getting a reservation.

It was nice to see the host hold the door open for us as he saw us begin to enter. Reservations @ 4:00 but we arrived early & were accommodated quickly. Choice between a booth (they're spacious) or a table, we opted for the table for 5. Drinks ordered with appetizers. The calamari is a must! Just the right amount of crisp but oh so tender inside! The slivers of onion gave it a nice touch too. Ahi nachos were just as awesome. Wonton chips were flavorful, Mayo sweet & poke fresh. Lobster fettuccine had nice chunks, no skimping! My group had the other dishes & I didn't sample but am told it was delish. It must've been as plates were devoured. We were celebrating a birthday & the restaurant made a big glass of ice cream with fruits & syrups & bananas. It was perfect, along with a signed card from the employees. No embarrassing singing, just a simple celebration. Alex provided excellent service the whole night. The manager stopped by casually a few times to ensure we were happy with our service & meals. I'll be back to try more dishes!

Copper River is the same company as Oswego Grill, and features many of the same menu items. This is a GREAT thing, as Oswego Grill is my pick for best general restaurant (except for the Clackamas location, which isn't up to the level of the rest). With that said, though, Copper River somehow seems to have an edge over the Oswego Grill locations. The food is somehow even better, which is to say that it is unbelievably GREAT! Service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is outstanding. I was particularly blown away by the chicken strips appetizer. I know! Chicken strips? It doesn't seem to get any more pedestrian than that, but the flavors here were transcendent, and the cook was perfect! Crisp and not at all greasy, and super juicy. The house-made ranch and mind-bendingly great house-made barbecue sauce alone are worth the trip. I was also amazed with how great the lobster fettuccine was! There was a huge amount of lobster, and it also was cooked and seasoned perfectly! Be sure not to miss their legendary banana split (I have no idea how they get the whipped cream THAT thick and flavorful...I generally hate whipped cream, but love the version served here). My only regret about Copper River? Not finding out about it years ago, as I'd have come here a LOT, and will do so now that I know.

My husband and I were in the area running an errand, so we thought we would pop in for dinner. We were shocked at how many cars were in the parking lot at 5pm on a Tuesday! We found out that Copper River is a great place for happy hour and it seems everyone else knew it. You could order happy hour at any table in the restaurant, not just the bar. We started with the Scratch Made Corn Fritters, which came with a delicious house-made honey butter. I highly recommend these! They were so good that we saw them being served at a lot of other tables as well. For my main course, I had the Pear and Gorgonzola Salad, which was very tasty. I also ordered the Spicy Mac & Cheese, which was overall pretty good, but not very spicy. My husband, who is very picky about burgers, ordered the PB&J Burger. He had a difficult time finding a go-to burger, but this one passed the test! He said it was one of the best burgers he's ever had. We're definitely going back to Copper River Restaurant & Bar to try more of their delicious food and drinks!
